This is one of my preserved crickets that I staged for a focus stacking session. I wanted to show its compound eye while leaving enough of its face in view to identify it in a bit of a stylistic way.
I used the rig that I described in my other recent posts and this session was a 434 image stack processed into this final single image with Zerene Stacker.

Brenda, thanks for your continuing support. I've so many things that I have yet to learn and of course the problem is always that each step forward opens a new door revealing something new to learn.
