Those are clearly shot. I had one of those lenses once. Let it go, sigh.
I have a two square foot pan three inches deep with a worm culture for fish food and waste disposal. About 1.5 lbs. of vegetable scraps a month turns into houseplant food. No smell.
Now. There is a springtail culture built up.
Close as I can tell, over 25 per cubic inch x LxWxD.
Trying to get some shots worthy of posting. With this many creatures moving at once cannot escape blur, or if still, hard to discern.
They appear to be .5mm for the BIG ones.
Willing to send you a vial full if you run out.
