I have a HP Pavilion Elite, running 6 GB ram, 32 bit. My problem is each time I open "My Pictures" folder the photos in any sub folder do not show up, only a flower looking icom, with the file number underneath. Could this br a memory problem? Would it help to add an additiona 2 GB? Any help would be great.

You are in Windows Live Photo Gallery: You should be able to add a tag, name the picture so you know which one is which. Go to Start & all programs to see if you have Windows as above. You can see all of them on a photo sheet at once. Click on the one you want, it will put a blue halo around the chosen one, then you can do what you want with it, like send as photo-email etc. Hope this helps Tattoolady
Are the files jpg's or RAW, windows can't handle RAW, at least not mine, Bob.
If you're running a 32 bit operating system, it will only recognise 3Gb of RAM, so adding more won't improve anything. You may find that upgrading to the 64 bit version (I'm assuming that it's Windows 7) shouldn't be that expensive.
theyr'e probably raw files.
