Dorsal View Small BMSB

This is a dorsal view of one of my several stink bugs. There are times that I could fill shovel's full with them and they even come to me inside the house.

Grey and cold outdoors so there is more time to pass on what I enjoy most. I tightened up any internal reflections that there may have been in my extension gear. I've flocked (lined) all of my extension tubes when I first got them so they are "internally blacked out". When I switched from the Nikon D810 to the Fujifilm X-T20, adapters were needed to mate up my assortment of gear and although they black they were not "dead flat black" so a bit of paint here and it appears to have made an improvement.

This is a focus stacked image of 147 shots processed in Zerene Stacker.

As always, thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.

I see a project here.
Insects exhibit bi-lateral symmetry. This shot shows that very well.
There is even a dorsal centerline. I have an idea that I can freeze one of these in water and then with a razor blade, cut the bug in two.
Thaw and blot dry.
Exhibit it on my first surface mirror, cut edge to the mirror.
I know no one will miss a few invasive stink bugs.
Plastic petri dish should work. Look in the clay pots and house plants for victims.
If I were to criticize, the one thing I would pick is this.
I prefer to see the entire insect in a frame. Subsequent closer shots of the various parts would then make more sense.
I know many insects by parts, but I doubt many can say that.
A lot of news, but that later. My lids are heavy and my eyes grow dim.
Bill
