Informative and visually stunning. Thanks again for another class in what can be done with skill, hard work and good equipment (in that order I think).
Beautifully groomed - first thoughts😢

Excellent set Paul. Wonderful portraits. You have quite a catalog. Are you planning on a book?

It 's good to hear that the zoo works with the Fish & Wildlife folks to rehabilitate the Manitees in that where there are many natural springs and much animal inhabitants to care for. I am relocating to a town slightly north of there soon and will definitely visit this zoo. Thanks
Blair, there's lots great locations around Tampa well as the zoo. Consider a membership if you think you'll go the often. Their member's only parking area might be worth the investment alone.

As most photographers do, arrive early, a bit before 9:am and you can pick your parking spot. The lots fill quickly so early bird gets the best space.
As I did circles around the parking lot, it looked like being a member and access to the member's parking would be an even better bet.
Thank you Greg, Don, nimbushopper, Val, John, Ben, Blair, Dennis, William, CWGordon, Jan, raymondh, Dave, Susan! There are many great exhibits at Zoo Tampa. Hopefully, you all will have a chance to go. Thank you for all your kinds comments.
WOW!! Paul - these are absolutely beautiful shots.
Great photos thank you for sharing them and the info to go along with
CHG: Thanks for remembering all the little people; warms my heart to be remembered. I have gone to the Zoo in Naples/Fort Myers area. Smaller, but really good zoo. The Tiger area was very cool. I was able to get some great pacing Tiger shots through the immense amount of Bamboo. Lions and Tigers were in very natural appearing spaces. It has to have been at least 10 years ago, maybe a few more.
Your work and info tell me I gotta get to Tampa Zoo. I have a friend from college days living there. I can not think of a reason to hold me back. Thanks for the motivation.

CW, don't undersell the Naples Zoo. I've been there only once, so I forget all the animals. I do remember the blind panther had died before I was there that first time. The pair of Military Macaws and the African Parrot at the entrance are worth the cost of admission alone, for how close you can get with just 70 to 300mm lens. I look forward to results of your next visits to both zoos.
Thank you Bill, asicit! I'm there for the photography and like to learn the background details of the animals later when sharing the results. Glad you enjoyed.
Clarity, great light and grand images. vz
Interesting commentary as always. Nice photos.
