I just sold my AC powered Dynaiite strobes to Roberts Camera after my best friend suggested them. He has delt with them over a number of years. I had not used these strobes for several years, but did fire them yearly to be sure the capacitors were properly charged. Dealing with Roberts was vary professional and efficient and the price was fair. I also bought a open box Panasonic Lumix GX85 from them and the transaction was of the same professional service as I received in selling my strobes to them. Since there have been recent lists about camera dealers, I felt it appropriate to list them in the good guys column.

Wow, great to hear of another good place out there. Not what I was expecting when I opened this thread. If I'm ever in their area I will have to look them up.

They now have two stores, one of which they moved into newer bigger and better, with a "used" equipment room and new equipment room.......plus classrooms upstairs. The other store is in Carmel Indiana. I grew up with Robert's Camera, and they are one of the best.

I've purchased from them and they're great. One of the nice things about buying a used camera from them is they list both the condition and shutter count.

I too grew up with Roberts Camera and prefer the downtown Indianapolis location, although I bought my tripod & LowePro backpack from the Carmel store. For those that aren't in the area, they offer used equipment from their Roberts Camera online site, but also here ... https://usedphotopro.com/ Same people, same great service, same level of trust.
