The "mark all post as read" command?

I scan through all the new post and check out the ones that look interesting.
After that I click on "mark all post as read". If I then click on "show all unread"
nothing shows up, this is as it should be, but if I leave the site and come back later all of the post
I requested be marked as read are back as unread. Has anyone else experience this.
Is there a solution?

The ones I mark as read do not show up as unread again.
They stay read. Did you maybe come back in another (existing) open tab that had the unread showing?
Marking as read will not change all open tabs unless you re-load them.

Are the thousands of people active on this site adding new / unread responses onto topics on the site you previously marked as read?

Looks like I was incorrect about devices; I found I had to log in on my other Chromebook just now, even though I'm already logged in on this device. But once logged in, the newest topics/watched topics number was the same.

Yes, evidently device (and more) dependent.
I can have a normal Firefox window and a private one. Each window does not know the other window is logged in to UHH. In other words, if I'm logged in in a normal window and then open a private window, I have to log in again in that private window. I also have to log out of both to be actually logged out of UHH.

Are those topics you haven't opened? Does it also happen with topics that you did open prior to marking all as read?

Please PM me a screenshot of the Newest Topics page that is showing topics as new. And please note down the time when you clicked Mark All Topics As Read and the time of the screenshot. I'll look into it.
