I am simply an amateur photographer. Loosing an image is only heartbreak, not a financial loss.
I use Acronis and do regular backups to two external drives. I do not use their cloud service.
I want to add a cloud backup service and was going to use my free Prime Photos, but they do not backup my RW2 raw format (LUMIX).
I do not want to spend a fortune, but I will pay for safe, reliable and easy usage. Customer service is important when you need it as well.
So far I have only looked at Acronis and Backblaze, so would like opinions on any/all options. Feel free to direct me to links if this has been hashed to death. All my search pulled up were older threads (2016/17).
I've been using Carbonite with no problems. Very pleased
Have not needed customer service nor a restore in a few years.
I have it to backup other files also, like documents, spreadsheets, and HTML files.
The files have an indicator in Windows Explorer as to the backup status, and it's all automatic.
I change a file (or create a new one) and it is backed up, usually within minutes.

I use Amazon Drive to do automated backups of my Photos directory. It stores my raw file and any JPEGs I have created. There are no size limits on the photos. There is a size limit for files other than photos, such as video. You can view the files with the Amazon Photos app. All this is included with Amazon Prime.

Thank you. But, my concern is if they store my raw file format (RW2 - LUMIX/Panasonic). The RW2 format is not listed in their supported raw formats. I have written them to see if that may soon change.

I've used Carbonite for several years and like it. It backs up anything you tell it to, but if you're backing up from an external hard drive you do need to spend a little more money and get the "Plus" plan.
Their customer service/tech support has been very good. I've mostly used their online chat when I've had a problem.

Choose a MAJOR cloud provider such as Amazon S3, Google, Microsoft or Apple. Any of those are file format agnostic - they will store whatever you upload. Personally, I use Amazon S3. Amazon is by far the largest of the cloud providers - they own as much market share as the next 4 providers combined. What I like about their service (other than the fact that I worked with them professionally in the storage business) is that they have 3 levels of storage, each with different intended use and pricing, and you can move files, folders, or your entire library between tiers in real time as your needs change. I use their infrequent access (middle tier) which costs $1.00 per 100GB per month for archive/disaster recovery.

Dropbox an Enterprise strength cloud backup solution. Also ideal for file sharing. And never had any problems with any file format being rejected.
I have been very satisfied with Backblaze. Unlimited data backup and unlimited hard drives.

I use BackBlaze very reasonable. $60/year. Unlimited drives. For some unknown reason
I lost all my 2019 images and was able to recover them via BackBlaze
Backblaze. $6 a month. Unlimited backup to unlimited devices. Can’t beat it.

BackBlaze is my choice, silent, low resource use (but never had to restore - yet)
Idrive works fine for me. About $60/year for 1TB any file format.
Before picking a provider, think about the restore scenario. If you have a large volume of photos, video and data (I have about 3Tb), how long is that going to take to restore via the internet? Backblaze will provide your backup on an external drive for restoration which would reduce the time to hours rather than days.
I "backed up" a single RAW (RW2) file to Amazon Photos yesterday. I took too long. I can't imagine the pain of "backing up" my inventory of files. I'm sticking with a rotated pair of USB connected HDDs. The program GoodSync does all the work for me once or twice a month.
To the OP.... You wrote, "but they do not backup my RW2 raw format (LUMIX)."
Prime Photos took mine without issue from a Panasonic GX8.
