Another image: Decided on black and white, used gallery effect accurate black and white and the clarity image treatment slider.

Thanks Karin this one is showing the good difference of detail from color to B/W

I know, it's amazing - I can go down to 1/6 sec handheld and still get an acceptable image - so glad my husband made me stop dithering and get this camera!

Yes Me too, give him a pat on the Back for me and tell him he DID good. I’ll bet your glad you got it before the big trip!!

Please forgive the dark exposure and poor white balance of the the final photo. For some reason when I upload photos to UHH after Lightroom and Photoshop they sometimes don't look quite right. Maybe they look better on your monitors.

#1: Studio shot with constant daylight balanced LED light source with defusers and white cyclorama background. Canon 6D MK II, Tamron 18-270 @ 105mm, f/5.6, 1/125, ISO 200.

#2: Crop, removed blemishes and ear ring, softened skin, whitened eyes and teeth, Iris enhance, vignette, enhanced catch light in eyes.

Nice rendition, like it Tom but on my monitor it looks underexposed.

Over Christmas, I was able to sneak some images of
two of my sons, and since it was indoors with no flash,
I had a lot of PP to do.

Nice ones Tim. Had to do a lot to get them to look good.

All really great examples submitted here. This was a great challenge to get the creative juices flowing. Thanks again Bob for a thoughtful and educational challenge idea!

This will be my last for this challenge. Went outside my comfort zone on this, but here it is.

Two shots combined to a pano then edited.

First two are RAW converted to JPG. #3 is the combined pano. Tweaked with dehaze, clicked magic color, then upped the contrast and cropped a tad - all done in Photoscape X (free version). Finally, I then uploaded it to PicMonkey and added new sky.

Nancy first off - thank you for the comment on my challenge and.
Going out of your comfort zone worked well with you. Like the pano and esp the last one more dramatic.

First is sooc. On the second one I brightened it a little, and raised the saturation a little to make it more closely match what I saw. This was taken at 380mm, 1/160th sec. f6, iso 100, aimed at the reddest area of the sunset . On the third I cropped the second one to "widescreen" to fit my monitor.
PS: This was a quick edit with "Photos"

Nice set cmc like the dramatic effect.

Lightened the shadows, leveled a little, increased saturation, and warmed slightly

Nice example Pat. Everything changed the mood of the picture to more dramatic shot of sunrise.
