These were all taken through the tour bus window as we drove through the Scottish countryside. I used a Nikon D7500 with a Nikkor 18-300 f3.5-5.6 at 1/640 sec f6.3 auto iso. Please try the downloads. Enjoy!

Thanks for the tour Mark. I especially like numbers 1, 4 and 9. On download you can see the blur on the perimeter of the image due to the bus movement in number 4, which frames the rest of the image nicely. I'm amazed at the quality you get from the bus. Do you use a lens hood? If so, a regular one or one of the rubber ones that conforms to to window glass? When we were on the bus during our cruise excursions I got very few shots, as my wife usually sat by the window with her iPhone, and she's 6' tall, so a little hard to shoot over, especially with my DSLR (she got some very good photos with her iPhone though). Maybe it will be easier next time with my new small travel camera.
Thanks so much Dennis. I do use a regular petal type lens hood. I tried the rubber collapsible on a previous trip and didn’t like it very much. I think the secret is a fast shutter speed and focus on the far part of the middle of the field - the shoreline in #4. I occasionally get window frames or part of my wife - she’s 5’2” and just crop. She does lean back when she sees the lens in front of her face!
