If you use Lightroom (and I imagine other apps)... using the transform tool you could correct the distortion caused by not being able to g et far enough from your stall subject. (example included)

Lose way too much sky. When having to make such corrections take the photo with this correction in mind like lots of extra sky above or it looks odd.

You are right. The correction did remove some of the sky. But since thew original is-what-it-is... I'd vote for less sky and less distortion.

But you're right... consider that when forming the pic in the camera... leaving room for that loss... if you can.

Was just pointing this issue out.
Once I figured it out with PS and buildings and other things I leave room for this sort of manipulation.
