From WIKI "Mandala has become a generic term for any diagram, chart or geometric pattern that represents the cosmos metaphysically or symbolically." Yours are especially interesting because of their bilateral symmetry which is not a requirement of a Mandela. I find the designs and use of color pleasing. The "Longwood Bloom Mandela" comes closest to representing my vison of the cosmos.

As far as being 'easy' I'm not too sure of that. Thanks for posting.

There are several methods in video on the internet, from complex drawing of pie shapes to simply taking an image and applying a simple distortion in Photoshop.

I found an easy few step method of arranging, mirroring and flipping an image and using various blending modes achieves the results you see here.

I failed to save the tutorial I used, but if I can find it again will post it.
