We had fresh snow and sunshine yesterday, with 19 degree temperatures. Getting out and looking for good shots was fun, though my trigger finger kept freezing to the shutter button. My light, Nomex flight gloves were offering little protection.
Much of the land is swamp and small lakes. It has been warm for the last three weeks so there's much open water. Ice fishing is not so good so far this winter. The bird feeder is out at the swamp, someone has empathy for the birds and is keeping them in good food through the winter.
Finally, I got good shots of the Church with Two Steeple's. It's a small country church that still well attended. It has an interesting history. Seems the original church was too small with increasing attendance. Rather than build new, they bought another church near by and moved it to this location and joined the two buildings in an L shape. Thus, two steeple's.
Minnesota farmers can be frugal.

Nice shots all, but I really like #8. While my religion is confined to things like mountain sides with clear streams tumbling down them, there is something really eye-catching about a lot of church architecture. This one is simply clean and stately. Very attractive, in the original sense of the word.

Yes, there is open water. The temps have been just above freezing for three weeks and not snowing, at least here. Hoping this is the winter norm.
Very nice photos. I especially like #5 the triple beaver houses, and #8 is just classically beautiful,
Me too, I like the church photo's.
