Three shots of the Aurora Bridge in Seattle at night from under the bridge with each image presented in color and black and white. I do very little work in B&W and these shots were all converted from the color images. Your opinions are requested. Which of the versions do you prefer. Do you have any suggestions for me on how to improve these shots, particularly the B&W shots. Taken with a Nikon D810 on a tripod with a Tamron 24x70MM, f/2.8 G2 lens. Specific settings for each shot are listed with the image. Thanks for taking a look and thanks in advance for your suggestions/recommendations.

Much prefer the color.

There are nuances to color at night that simply get lost in b&w.

For these particular shots, I have to go with the rest and say the color versions express more of what I personally would feel standing on that dock.

With my little knowledge, B&W may work if the if the scene wasn't as busy (not that it's bad, just works in color). The third image is closer to what I think I'm trying to describe.

Also, a longer exposure to smooth out the clouds and water a bit to help build more contrast. It doesn't have to be extreme, but just enough to help counter the bridge and background landscape (again photo #3)

I would have to also go with the preference for color in these shots. Good job!👍

My preference is for your fourth image. To my eye, the B&W treatment plus the leading lines really set this image apart from the others.

I think the black and whites are striking, especially the last one.

The photos are all nice, but my vote goes to the b&w’s.
