I am shopping for a new memory card for my Canon PowerShot S5
I will be getting a class 10 card. Does anyone know if one brand is better than others?
There are a lot of different brands out there and I really don't know anything about them.

Thanks

Considering Class 10, and speaking for the S5, the faster the transfer speed, the happier you will be. Personally, I like the Lexar Pro 400x. I use the 8GB for both video and stills.

Stick to Lexar or PNY, you will be much happier with the results

I was actually looking at Sandisk, But not knowing anything about them, I will be happy to take your advise.

Thank You

Go with Sandisk, they've been at it for twenty five years.

Nothing but Promaster class 10. You'll pay dearly for them but they have a lifetime guarantee (not much help if it dies with all your photos) and I've had some for 5 years W/O ever having any kind of problem. I do most of my shopping at National Camera Exchange which is in Mn, don't know about any other states but they'll retrieve your photos if the card dies if at all possible. I always pull my card to put onto the computer so I do put them in and out alot but like I said, never a problem..........
