To dream the impossible dream

To dream the impossible dream.
To fight the unbeatable foe.
To bear with unbearable sorrow.
To run where the brave dare not go.

To right the unrightable wrong.
To love pure and chaste from afar.
To try when your arms are too weary,
To reach the unreachable stars...

No. From an old movie. I think. It’s a song. There’s more lyrics...

Thanks for demonstrating your TDS obsession with Trump. It’s quite evident that Trump occupies your deluded mind 24/7/365. Please seek professional help. 🤣

No, please, the name of the song is “To dream the Impossible Dream”. There’s more lyrics. It’s all good.

That's exactly why so many people, around the world, are going to ... 'stay up late if we have to' ... to watch Babylon being run out of town like a diseased rodent.

The Mooch sez ... "When the 'impeach and remove' figures reach the low 60s his GOPer support collapses. Just like Nixon."

Saw it on 2002 with Brian Stokes Mitchell...it’s one hell of a show...

... I am I, Don Quixote, the Lord of La Mancha
Destroyer of Evil am I,
I will march to the sound of the trumpets of glory
Forever to conquer or die..

I can see why you aren't sure whether it's a song. No one of any stature ever sang it. Well, maybe Elvis, Sinatra, Luther Vandross, Andy Williams, Peter O'toole, and a few others, but other than that no one. It's called "The Quest".

Pelosi sang this in 2016. She will sing it again in Nov 2020.

I think this song is about what it is like being a Christian.

Here's the rest of the lyrics: (from my memory)

This is my quest, to follow that star.
No matter how hopeless, no matter how far,
To fight for the right, without question or pause,
To be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause.
And I know, if I'm true to this quest,
That my heart will be peaceful and calm,
When I'm laid to rest.

And the world will be better for this,
That one man, scorned and covered with scars,
Still strove, with His last ounce of courage,
To reach the unreachable stars.
