Before some one accuses me of being constantly confused., Let me say, that Things for which there is no evidence confusses me. In this current impeachment ,will some one please explain to me EXACTLY what crime Trump committed. And if there is any hard evidence that ANY crime has been committed. If any president, including Trump. commits a crime worthy of impeachment I would favor impeachment by the House and Found guilty by the Senate and removal from office. But merely accusing any presdent of wrong doing, without any first hand knowlege, is not a valid reason for impeachment. If any of you who favored impeachment--You would not have gotten so much as a traffic ticket if there was NO evidence that you broke the speed limit

He has done nothing wrong. This is a sham to cover Biden's corruption and to deface the President in an election year.

One of our leftist scholars will soon be along to explain that what the framers of the constitution meant when they said “HIGH CRIMES AND MISDEMEANORS’ was “THE PRESIDENT IS OOKIE” ... and give each other backslaps over their intuitiveness.

Simply read the articles of impeachment—the language explains very well what Trump is accused of, and why.
You might disagree, you might not understand, but that is the appropriate response to the question you ask in this thread.
It you simply want to instigate discussion, and controversy, or get affirmation by your right wing friends; you will receive that; and you can wait for a liberal response so that you can disagree with it.
You should not have to ask someone to explain the articles to you-simply read the charges, and give what you read some thought.
We all play dumb— but not constantly.

The dems don't even know the crime, that is why Nancy will not send the Articles of Impeachment over to the Senate. Dems know it will end up in the round file.

The Progressive Fascists that are involved in this coup easily and readily got their heads up their asses. They are trying to get them out but are going the wrong direction. Complete anal-cerebral inversion.

He is being impeached for accusing Joe Biden and his son of corruption and asking the government where the alleged crimes may have occurred for assistance in getting to the bottom of what actually took place.

In all those impeachment pages not one single crime has been proven. Obstruction of congress for not allowing people to answer subpoena is NOT a crime. Obame did the same thing and was not accused of any crime, as it falls under executive privledge. Abuse of power. The constitution gives the president sole, absolute control over foreign policy. Asking any foreign government to investigate it;s corruption regarding americans on behalf of our country is nnot improper. Trump said US referring to the United States not himself. There was no crime here either

That is exactly why Nancy doesn't want to send the Articles to the Senate. The dems will be proven the biggest fools in the world. Nancy has no power to barter for rules in the Senate.

maybe they will accuse the Republicans of something, call for a mistrial, and blame the Republicans for the waste of 3 years and millions of dollars.

Criminality is not requited for impeachment. The definition of what constitutes a high crime and misdemeanor is whatever the House says it is. It is a political process, not a legal one. If it were a legal process, Mitch NcConnell and several other Republican Senators would be thrown out of the "jury" pool.

Also bear in mind, if a President were to be found guilty, the penalty is not the loss of life, liberty or property--it is only removal from office. Trump would still be a free man after removal.

BTW, you should be very happy it is a political process not a legal one. That is what will save Trump from removal. The dems to not have the muscle to pull this off.

Baz, I can't agree with you. A crime has to have taken place to impeach. When scared little Nancy gets the guts to send the Articles of Impeachment, it will all come out and dems will suffer at the ballot box.

Disagree all you want. You are just wrong. "high crimes and misdemeanors" is deliberately vague and borrowed from the Brits starting a couple of hundred years before the drafting of our Constitution.

There was a robust debate about this at the Constitutional Convention and the back and forth is documented in the Federalist papers, among other sources.

Ok my friend, lets see where this goes if Nancy has the guts to send it over to the Senate. It won't go well for dems, and the dems are likely to bring out more crimes from the dems.

Meanwhile the dems spent over 50 million dollars on this charade and Nancy sits on it. Dems will suffer at the polls, America is sick of what the dems have done.
