I was browsing the B&H to look for miscellaneous Accessories, and decided to check camera prices. These are new cameras, body only, not refurbished. I don't know how long these prices will last? Canon EOS 5D Mark 4 with extra accessories. Body only. Price $1999.00. B&H# CAE5D4ACK. Canon EOS R Mirrorless, $1499.00. B&H# CAERB. Nikon D750 w/accessories. $1196.95. B&H# NID750ACK. For those who may be interested in purchasing one of these 3 cameras. This is the time.

Also a good deal from B&H -- Sony 6500 is 400.00 off selling for 795.00. Locally a couple of these have come up in the used column for 800.00 so this seems like a good price for this camera.

I didn't see that. I have a friend who owns a Sony a6000, and he has been wanting an a6500, shortly after it was released. I'll have to tell him about it. That camera is a very good crop sensor mirrorless camera. Better than the a6000. He says. Thanks.

I met a Wedding Photographer about 3 years ago. He had two 5D Mark 3 Bodies. I don't know if he upgraded to the Mark 4. But, if not, I'm sure he would have bought 2 each at $2000 per camera. And sell his two 5D Mark 3 cameras. Excellent camera for your wife's first DSLR.

I got mine right after they hit the street. Great camera. If your wife wanted a camera that's built to last and is capable of doing most anything when it comes to taking photos, she will love her 5D IV. And, for two grand, a great price, way less than I paid for mine.
I strongly recommend that she picks up a book she can use to learn the camera. It's a lot of camera, loaded with lots of features and functionality. The cameras manual is ok to learn what the buttons are for but it's not a good book as far as learning how to really use the camera. Like I said, I've had mine for quite a while now, have used it to shoot several events plus it's my every day shooter, and I'm still learning what I can do with it.

Actually, it's not an excellent choice for a first DSLR. It's a very complex photography tool, one of the top DSLR'S available, and complimentary lenses for the 5D mk IV can be quite expensive. Definitely not a starter DSLR, but an excellent camera none the less. It comes with a steep learning curve but it's well worth learning how to take it off full auto. But, for two grand, ya really can't go wrong... Now it's time to start building an EF lens collection.
