Indiana Jones was nowhere to be found

Spent a couple days in Petra, Jordan. It's amazing what people 2,000 years ago could accomplish! The Treasury which is featured in the third Indiana Jones movie is as monumental as any ruins. The other building is the "Monastary" which is accessed by climbing 900 steps up the side of a mountain. Used a Sony RX10 VI; a great all purpose travel rig....

Thank you! No, unfortunately you're not allowed to go inside. Actually, there's only one big open room in both buildings. What you're not told is that there are numerous buildings like these cut into the rock walls. The general consensus is that they were tombs.
