Went to let Samantha out for her nighttime duty call when I saw the moon above. I didn’t expect to do this but got camera with its $99 lens and took a few fast exposures. Neighbors must have thought I was a little strange standing out in 30 degree weather in my pjs taking a picture of the moon. Well I have an excuse I’m a 92 year old crazy old man🤪🤪

LOL I'll just bet you were a sight freezing out there in your PJs shooting the moon, Bob! Fantastic moon shots...as yours always are, and I'd like to see a shot of the entire scene.

Bob, I guess being 71 gives me a break since I was to chicken to go out in 29* weather to get the photo. Yours are great.

When I heard it was the last full moon of decade and would be at it's fullness at 12:12, the 12th. month and 12th day, I considered shooting. As I crawled into my soft bed around 11, I thought "not". Good for you for braving it. The light outside at my 3:30 "run" was quite beautiful.

Must have taken me about 10 sec, camera to eye, find moon and click, ran back in numb.

I have my moon settings saved as a custom setting. I wasn’t out there but 10/15 seconds not a pretty sight! I can’t blame camera shake on my age because I’m still able to handhold below 30 seconds.Tonights effort I have to blame on the cold(excuses, excuses)😄 Mildred is going to buy me thermal pjs so I don’t get sick. I hope Santa is good to you comes Xmas.

Excellent shots Bob. Well even youngsters like myself, ( I am only 78) have been seen shooting the moon after bedtime.

I get tucked in between 11:30 and 12. This is routine for us.
