What lens would be best all round lens to start with for the 200

Depends on what you want to shoot.
Personally, I think the old 17-55 2.8DX was the best DX zoom Nikon ever made.
Constant 2.8 maximum aperture, built like a tank, sharp, but pretty expensive.
A pro lens back when Nikon didn't make a full-frame body.
The 18-55's are all pretty decent performers for the price.
Now, I'd lean toward a Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8.
Unlike the Nikon 17-55, it has stabilization.
Some like the 18-200 or 18-300 for all-around use.
For me, they are a bit slow and not quite as sharp as some others but really handy if you don't want to change lenses. I had an 18-200 for sale, but it's gone.
Then there are prime lenses, as in a single focal length.
Faster, lighter, smaller and possibly less expensive than a zoom.
For crop sensor primes, I personally like having the 23mm to walk around with on my Fuji.
It's like about a 35mm equivalent view in full-frame speak.
It's
my normal.
