I'm looking to buy a replacement hood for the one I broke, or the parts for the screw lock.

Mark I or Mark II hood? I know that I have the Mark I (even though they don't call it a Mark I) and the hood on it when it was still available was something like $600 from Canon. Good luck finding one now that Canon doesn't work on them or stock parts for it any more. I have no idea about the Mark II but I'm guessing it's just about as expensive.

I just bought a CANON hood for a 24-105 lens. More than the pattern parts but slides on so easily and has a lock to keep in in place. Can't say that I'll always buy CANON but I'll certainly consider them.
