We retrieve our Christmas tree from a tree farm. This particular tree farm is on a hillside in Vermont. They have a team of horses that haul you up the hillside in a sleigh. Once up the hill, you cut your tree and label it with your name. A 4x4 picks up your tree and brings it down the hill.
There is a log cabin on the hillside with a skating pond nearby. Inside the cabin, there is a glowing fireplace. The owners serve hot chocolate and Christmas cookies in the cabin. The photo was taken from the inside of the cabin looking out towards the pond.
When you have had your fill of hot chocolate and Christmas cookies, the sleigh brings you down the hill where you pay for your tree.
