When I shot this from the roadside in Vermont I assumed it was a fast-food place, but now I think it was probably the snack bar of a drive-in movie theatre. It has that look about it. Do you guys agree?

I think that's exactly what it is. Although the younger folks probably don't know what that even is!

Thanks. It's a unique look. Now I'm betting that the sign showed the movies playing.

We still have a drive-in movie theatre very close to where I live.

Was this in Gassets, Vermont, on the road to Rutland? I know I've been by that sign, and I think I have a negative of it among my "to be developed" Hasselblad films. It's quite distinctive.

I don't know for sure, but that could be the location.

There were lots of drive-ins here and where I grew up in NY. Almost all of them are gone.

There still are two drive-ins near me in Dutchess County, NY... the Hyde Park Drive-In and Overlook Drive-In.

One of the few in the state is on Cape Cod, MA. Big flea market on weekends. Major tourist attraction.
