Identifying a desktop internal SSD

While waiting for the delivery of my new Dell desktop, I am in the process of removing storage drives in prep for donating the tower to a charity. I have three drives in the tower: removable disk, 2TB HDD, and a 512Gb SSD. Removed the 2TB HDD with no problem, but for the life of me I cannot locate/identify the SSD. This is the first desktop I have owned with an SSD. I have identified all of the primary components such as graphics card (that was new to me, bigger than a HDD), memory cards on mthbd, fan screwed to middle of mthbd presumably to cool cpu chip, etc. Can someone help me locate/identify the SSD? That is the boot drive and has apps and other personal info I would not want to fall into the wrong hands.

The SSD, being small and thin (the size of a notebook hard drive), could be tucked away in a number of narrow places, and actually fastened to the side of something.. Look in spaces between power supply and case, between power supply and optical drive, etc. Or, follow all the power leads from the power supply to see where they go.

Could be a card???

Does anything look like any of these?

Look for the SATA cable and see where it goes?

Is it possible that your desktop has an M.2 SSD rather than a traditional SSD? Take a look at this video and see if that helps.

Is it possible that you have a Seagate Hybrid HD, if so, the SSD might be inside of the hard drive.

Could be a card instead of an actual drive. Newer computers simply plug the SSD memory card into the motherboard without the expensive of a housing and separate electronics.

That would be anyone other than you.
If you cannot with 100% certainty guarantee that there will be zero personal info left, to hell with the tax exemption take a sledge hammer to it.

That’s exactly what it is. Found it partially hidden under the graphics board. Had to remove the graphics board to reach it. It was made in Taiwan, manuf. name Lite-On Corp. The card is 2” long. Been looking on eBay to see if an external docking station exists to fit this size internal SSD. Have not found one so far, smallest is 2.5”.

Go to Newegg.com. You can get an adapter card that will connect it via standard SATA connections to another computer, or I suppose a dock too. Or put it in an external drive case to connect via USB to a computer.

Took photos of inside computer, then closed the case. Unfortunately, the two I took did not turn out. I am not in the mood to reopen the case since am busy sorting the zillion cables as to what I will reuse. However, since I have removed the SSD I can post that pic. Searched hi & low on net looking for a 2" SSD. Turned up no reference on the beast. Apparently, Dell had that size manufactured for their products. It appears there is room on the motherboard to install a 2.5 size board.
