According to a book I am reading, if you use a third party flash with the Fuji X100 series you lose TTL functionality. I have a Godox for Sony that works beautifully and I was thinking about picking one up for my Fuji. Can anyone confirm or correct what the book says about losing TTL?
Thanks!
I think it would work if you buy the Godox with the letter F.

I would think so as well.
I use 2 Godox 350s and a 685 with my XT 2 and XT 3 and have full TTL functionality. As someone already pointed out be sure to specify the Godox “F” series.
Not sure if these units are related but I have two Godox (Flashpoint) R2 units dedicated for Canon and neither one will work in TTL unless you shoot direct flash. As soon as you point the head up for bounce it seems to dump full power. I normally shoot manual so I don’t really care but I gave a camera to an assistant recently and discovered the issue. It may be related to pre-flash not able to generate enough power to give a return.
