You are right. Might have been a bit better at 1/5000 and a bit more depth of field, but clear enough to be a keeper. Also, if the head were turned just a bit to the bird's right it may have been a bit better as well. I was pleased just to keep the bird in the frame at 1200mm. Thanks for the comment.
