Questions on the Leica Q2

Looking for some answers to some questions about the Q2 and I have not had much luck.
Does it come with a lens cover and if so, is it like the cover for the Nikon 14-24? Big ashtray looking cover?
Is it back button focus capable?
Do you have to remove the card to download images? Due to the weather sealing, I think there are no USB ports.
If you have one, are you happy? Would you buy it again?
Anyone with experience and the time to respond would be appreciated.

Why would it need a big lens cover?
And there is no USB port so downloading would probably necessitate removing the card.
(That’s how I do it anyway)
The local Leica dealer went out of business a few years ago so I’ll have to go out of town to handle one of these.

I don't know but I think you should be able to get all those information from the Leica website. If I am interested I would download the manual and read thru it before buying.

Looking at the B&H Photo listing for the Leica Q2, it does not appear there is a lens cap. It would be easy to call their Sales Department to confirm that. The camera comes with a lens hood and and a cap for that lens hood. There is no USB cable provided, so removal of the card to download images would be the primary method. There is built-in WiFi to facilitate transfer of images to a mobile device.

You're right! The lens cap is 49mm but is optional and doesn't come with the camera. There is the AEL/AFL button.

This product may be what you need:

Or something like this one:

For my all my Nikon lenses, I use similar neoprene hoods with a front element protector to fit over the lens or lens hood. I am not sure who made all of them. I find that these are easier to use, and harder to loose that the lens caps that came with the lenses.
