Photo Gallery Download Display Size

I'm hoping that this affects more folks than just me.
Yesterday I had a major Microsoft update and my downloaded UHH "Photo Gallery" pics have reverted to a very small size instead of the (almost) page filling size that they had previously been.

Yes, I check all of the UHH "Help" subjects, and I have used the "Search" function attempting to find a reset, etc. that would restore my old setting.
Any help for "a poor blind candidate" would be appreciated.

Is there a "zoom" tool in your browser? Does text appear the same size?

I'm not completely sure what you are asking Jimmy. I took a look at some of your posted photos in the photo gallery and they remain full size on my computer screen. So I assume this must be an issue internal to your computer and the update that was downloaded. Wish I could be of more help to you.

Clarification: I'm not wishing this on anyone, I just hope that since that I am asking the question that a correct response will help others also.
Yes, English is my first language, grin. Sometimes it is hard to tell when reading my written word, grin.

Sorry, I should have been more concise:
Only the downloaded pics of others from the "Photo Gallery" are smaller when I download them for my viewing
I'm pretty sure that it is a setting that I have to change.

Same results in a different browser?

I can't understand yet what you're describing. Give us a URL link to any UHH post that demonstrates the issue you're experiencing.

When I go to the "Photo Gallery" section, click on a title that interests me like https://www.uglyhedgehog.com/t-618262-1.html and the picture loads, if I am interested in seeing the details of that picture I will click on "(Download)" directly under the picture and it will load large enough to fill the screen.

Since the Microsoft update yesterday when I do click on the download the picture does load, however, it stays small. Whenever you (CHG_CANON) load pics into the UHH Photo Gallery you used to give specific instructions as to what settings you needed to set so that your pics would be displayed almost large enough to fill my monitor.

I guess that I could continue to use the mouse + CtRL to get the same effect. It is just so much better when it is automatic.

The example image you selected was posted as 1000x800 pixels. If you have a HD display like I do, this image cannot fill your 1920-pixel wide screen. It has nothing to do with your OS nor browser and everything to do with the UHH member's decisions about how to share their images. More details about the issues at play are available at this link: Recommended resizing parameters for digital images

Well, it seems to be a browser setting or an OS update anomaly.
Mine work fine, but I'm using Firefox and Win 7.

Thanks for the guidance. I thought that Microsoft or I had messed up something.
Thanks to all and I will go to the link and "horse-up" on the details. I'm just glad that I didn't mess something up.
