The Cuillin Mountains, Isle of Skye at twilight.
Absolutely Beautiful. And all this time I was thinking that england was a rainy, drizzly, gray ,misrable little island.
You have forever changed my faulty perceptions. My sinsere appologies. LOL
Graham, with your sence of humor, and your photographic skills, I look foward to your posts. Thank you for sharing.
The sharp peaks are a stunning contrast to the soft colors. There appears to be a tiny tilt down to left, but I suspect it has something to do with the shadows or the shoreline not being equidistant from us in all sections.

It probably does need correcting in this shot, but what you say about the shoreline is correct. if a shoreline is receding (at an angle) to your viewpoint it may not give a truly level horizon.
That’s a pretty one, Graham.
The "off level" appears to be an optical malusion [sic].
Enlarging the download and sliding the image vertically to set a piece of paper plumb to the side of the monitor, the horizon is level to maybe 1°?.

I always enjoy your posts!👍
Shorelines can be a pain - you know what it was doing better than anyone but the viewer still gets the impression it’s tilted. I generally opt for what the viewer would prefer when posting it and keep it the way I like it if it’s just for me!
This one is quite colourful for you Graham, and that sky is simply beautiful. I’ve not heard of the Cuillin’s before (but I know a man that will have - expect he’ll be along soon).
