I have been having problems with my XP 960 printer, whenI print a image I get these little boxes that show through out the print. I did a nozzle check, it is okay. Tried head alignment and still get this pattern. Have any of my fellow photographers come up with this with their printer? I asked a Epson rep at the Photo Expo if there is a way to set the printer back to factory status. He said he would send me Information but never heard form them, any help would be greatly appreciated, Rich M.

If its a serious printer head issue, then you may need to replace the head. Which will cost you much more than a new printer?

I had Epson Stylus printers and after the second print head died changed to Canon Pro-100 and never looked back.

I have a XP-950 but I've never seen anything like that. I can't picture what you're describing. If nozzle checks good and you've done head alignment the only thing I can think of is incorrect "paper thickness" adjustment? Does it happen with different paper thickness or with paper from different paper trays?

I had an Epson printer, I dumped it after the printhead leaked badly, ink was all over the paper tray, the printer stand and stored paper under the stand. I will never buy an Epson printer. I now use HP and Brother printer.
