My grandson works at a Knoxville TN venue where someone left a camera. He thinks it was a wedding reception. He called Canon to see if they could tell him who the camera was registered to by the serial number, but they said it wasn’t registered. The memory card had been removed so it couldn’t be identified that way.
Please let me know if you think the camera is yours. I know this is a long shot but worth a try.
A Canon camera ould be a very expensive full frame camera, to the cheapest point and shoot camera..The person may check back to see if it was placed in the lost and found section. The person owning that camera should know the make and model of the camera. However, I have known from past experiences, that stuff comes up missing sometimes in the lost and found sections. You may have a free camera. Not to your wish, of course. Thanks for the honest effort though. Good luck.
Thanks. It isn’t a new Canon, but one that many professionals still use. I know the owner will probably feel terrible after they discover it’s missing. Hope we can find the owner.
Perhaps you can contact the venue and see if they had any weddings and get a name of the couple and contact them inquiring about the photography they used.
Thanks Everyone! The owner has been located. Thanks again!

Very Glad you found the owner, or they found you. Your honest effort in finding the owner is very commendable. Thank You, in behalf of the many other Photographers who appreciate your honesty & Integrity.

If there are more people like you in the world, it would be a much better place.
Just a quick thumbs up to you and your grandson for the effort!
