This is a focus stacked image of a Yellow and Black Garden Spider that my 8-year old grandson brought to me. He put it in a pill bottle of alcohol and it was in pretty rough shape however he thought that it was a great prize to give me.
I took this session with a 10X Plan Infinity microscope objective with a Raynox DCR-150 used as the tube lens at 200mm extension tubes from the focal plain of the camera. This is a 430 image stack with 5-micron steps with constant diffused lighting at 1/4-second shutter speed. The camera progressed forward each step via a digital motorized focus rail controlled by a PC.
As always, thanks in advance to all who view and for your comments, suggestions, questions and critique.
