Today was a play day. My game plan was to photograph nine bridges in one day. Well that was wishful thinking. I ran out of time. Ended up with six out of nine. Maybe another day I'll get the other three.
These are located a little over an hours drive south of Portland, Oregon in the Linn County, Scio area.

That's a nicely constructed bridge and you captured it in many appealing ways and the train along side it was a lovely comparison in an historical manner that demonstrates compatabillity despite the technological advances over time.

Good Job

Very nice set of wooden bridges. Did notice some banding in the sky on 7 & 8 in the sky.

Nothing mixes nostalgia and beauty as does a well maintained covered bridge. My wife and I stumbled upon the covered bridges of Madison County in Iowa on our way home from California. I had a ball playing Clint Eastwood from the movie, going from bridge to bridge photographing them. You captured these bridges at a great time of year, fantastic images. Thanks for sharing, brought back some really great memories.

These all appear to be well maintained so hopefully they will last!

Most were built in the early 1900's. One burnt to then ground and was rebuilt with in the past twenty years.
Most have been repainted and repaired within the past few years.

Nice, it was raining when we stopped and checked out one near Rainbow OR. Didn’t get much of a shot. I figured the best view was from the middle of the McKenzie River.

Been to Oregon a number of times. Eugene and surrounding areas. Those bridges are so picturesque.

Nice set of images. They remind me of the covered bridges in Brown County, Indiana which I have visited many times.
