Just in case you can't read. The emoluments clause applies to gifts/funds from FOREIGN governments. NOT things earned from domestic sources. The president receives a salary for his services, the emolument clause does not apply because it't not bfrom a foreign source. With regard to the Doral mtg. Trump was not going to charge any foreign entity for the event bat the doral so the emoluments clause would not have applied. So therefore a president is entitled to earn mon ey from domestic sources, as did Washington. So in that respect Trump was accurate in his comparison. So if you learn to read maybe this vwill be understandable to you as well as the idiot you-tube comentator

Trumpy was forced into that offer by the outrage that followed his announcement that the G7 would be held at his resort.

(Sorry - - upload problem - - still trying - - since 2:36 PM, I've simply tried to upload a screen shot of p. 2, but I continue receiving a msg that the site is unreachable. Clearly the site, this site, is VERY reachable, as I am posting and adding other attachments.

When I run out of my 1-hour edit window, if you want to view p. 2, you'll need to use the link.)

Washington was the richest of all presidents combined. He had the most land. Mind boggling.
Donald is nothing compared to George.

Liar, Trump was not calling the Constitutional emoluments clause phony, he was talking about the fake claim that he was violating the emoluments clause which he wasn't.
