One A Day, Day 84.
I agree with you John. However I do not know the history of all this stuff between you both. I just find it interesting that on not only Tim's stuff, but other threads also, it seems to generate a passionate rampage of bullshit especially if the subject is about politics, social issues and even religion. So, Tim's work certainly does not appeal to some, and that is Ok and be expected, but, when it goes on and on, it gets silly. I hope this clears up my thoughts on this subject. God bless all of you and no insults intended but please, let us keep it clean.
Ok, now I am down tha road to the next beer joint. Ya'll have a good'un Ok.

I like the poses but agree with Rab that the blown out window is detracting. Did you think about upping your SS and pumping in more flash? Also, to me, so much background is clutter rather than "context"; after all, your lovely model is the subject, right?

The blow out of the rear screened window was totally intentional. IF, to fill with flash I would have employed a Laron Square 42 inch soft box with single head and one (of three) D 2,000 WS power bases, which in use can over power sunlight even in summer at 8 feet. That is NOT what I wanted out of this image, I wanted the blow out of the sky with the disintegration of detail for the tree.
I'm not sure what is meant by 'SS', but if that is referring to shutter speed or ISO, neither would have achieved a satisfactory result as the range of exposure from shadow to highlight would have not delivered a satisfactory result that even in post using <CURVES> could have recovered.
Hope that gives an adequate response to your inquiry.
