Sold Nikon lens Tokina 11-16mm f2.8

This lens, Tokina SD 11-16 F2,8 (IF) DX for Nikon, is in excellent condition and has gotten very good reviews. It comes with front and rear caps, BH-77B hood, and a Hoya 77mm skylight filter. I cannot justify keeping it since I went to a full frame camera. I have used it on the D810 (full frame camera) and it produces a full frame image at 16mm, even though it is a DX lens. $250 shipping includes in 48 states.

I guess I wasted my money buying full frame FX lenses.

It only works at the 16mm end, at the 11mm end this lens will vignette badly

I believe that some FF cameras, if properly set, will switch into DX mode and use the center portion of the lens.

Great lense and good price! I also sold mine when I went to FX, but bought a Tokina 16-28 FF, I liked it so much.

It is a great lens, sorry I just bought one but can attest to its quality results and your price is very fair.

Not worth it. You want a full frame to use lenses that will use the whole sensor.

So, with my Nikon D3300, I must apply the 1.5 crop factor to this lens, correct, so actual F.O.V. = approximately 16-24mm,.. Correct?

Seems to me that some of those nice Tokina's needed a camera with a built-in focus motor. The D3300 and D5300 do not qualify if this is true. As time progressed, Tokina added a motor to subsequent generations such as the ProDx11.
