Camera warranties

I was wondering if anyone on here has purchased a camera warrany, specifically from SquareTrade? Sounds plausible, but would like some feedback from anyone who has done so, or may have some knowledge of someone who has? Thanks for your time.

I bought a year warranty on a used lens i bought from ebay, im glad i never had to use it from SquareTrade, i think it cost 12or 15 dollars, i paid almost 200.00 for the lens

Thanks for your input, Joe. I once bought a used camera, but didn't have any warranty. It costs me a little over $150 to get it repaired. I just bought a new camera, and given the complexity of these cameras, I think I will go ahead and get the warranty.

if your camera is new, say its a canon, you have a year warranty with them,
i only buy canon, there factory warranty is great, they stand behind there stuff
