A tariff is actually a VAT... Value Added Tax which is what England has on imported goods. Argentina, you buy an in-country Car or an import... most are... and pay 100% add on. But only on Luxury Items.
This Tariff is pure and simple a TAX to help pay the monstrous national debt in part resulting from his Tax lowering for the rich [little for lower-income citizens].

I like that Trump has convinced Democrats to finally dislike tariffs. Too bad Democrats will go back to loving tariffs again when a Democrat is elected President.
