No. No more appropriate than putting up a caricature of Obama. Its our national museum and it should not stoop to that level.

Rose, you couldn't think I was being serious, could you? I have spent many hours in that museum admiring the portraits, and I would never expect anything like this to appear there.

Speaking of presidential portraits, Bill Clinton's (by Chuck Close) is not very appealing to me.

I just looked up the one by Chuck Close of Bill Clinton. I think its hideous. I don't like the ones of Obama and his wife either. They look amateurish. Surely they could have done a better job.
