iPad question

I have seen several in posts and comments, that many of you have or use an iPad for processing. I am interested to know which programs your using. I have installed Affinity which is fine. However, seems daunting to me. Adobe for some reason keeps stalling IMOP. Thanks in advance for any help or tips you might have.

I've used Lightroom quite happily. Is your iPad an older model?

I use Adobe’s PS Express on my iPad. It is a collection pre-sets which limits post processing. From within the Pictures app (which also serves as a container for images) one can crop and a little adjusting with its tools. Some of the tools in PS Express have slider bars. I have not figured out how to make selections and am unaware of any “layer” capability.

Adobe has started private beta testing of the full Photoshop CC for iPad. Many expect the app to launch at the annual Adobe MAX conference in early November.

I have an iPad Pro and use Snapseed, that is free, and TouchRetouch, $1.99 that has a clone brush.
There are many tutorials on YouTube on how to use these, and other mobile apps. I took a photo
editing course from iPhone Photography School that is really good for a couple hundred dollars, and they
occasionally run sales.

I have a 10.5 Pro for most everything, and I picked up a newer 12.9 with 512g just for photos. Affinity is on both, but I’m thinking of going back to PS once it’s available. There’s a PC at home, but the pads travel well.

Well, then I guess I can wait another month or two.

With my iPad pro, I import into Photos, do some preliminary edits there. ( It is included in the iPad software free of charge. It has gotten to be very good.) From Photos, I will import “keepers” into Lightroom CC where I can store, further edit, organize and share.

I use Lightroom CC and sometimes PS Express on an iPad Pro 11. The nice thing about the Lightroom cloud is that I can go between using my iPhone, Ipad and computer to edit the the pics without moving them.

I always tell people I use LR Mobile and am at the cutting edge of everything!

But really I use Snapseed for mobile processing. It just works, is simple and gets the job done.

I use Snapseed, it’s free. The update I just got for ipadOS13 has enhanced editing tools that look similar to
Snapseed's.

I use PS Express and Lucid, both of which have useful presets. Of course, the Photos app has cropping, brightness, contrast sliders, etc. all non-destructive.

IPad Pro with Apple Pencil and Affinity for iPad. After watching Ezra Anderson’s You Tube presentation on sky replacement, I was so impressed that I purchased his Affinity Revolution course and have found it extremely helpful.
