Hi All Here for your morning coffee is a nosegay of what I grew up with and knew as wild prairie Asters. These are around in the fall, one of the last blooming flowers of the northern prairies. I an sure there are many botanists (me not being one) in this group who will give us the proper name, maybe even in latin. Thanks for looking and please enjoy. RBorud

Real juicy, and beautiful.
They look like New England Asters. My front yard and boulevard are loaded with them. About half have lost their blossoms. They were almost littered with bees and Monarchs during the bloom.
Gorgeous colors, and interesting background - kind of hovers over it...
