I took my 13 year old son fishing and, of course, brought my camera. While I was fishing, he took this picture, handheld in manual mode. He even changed the ISO because it was getting dark...Then, I was working on a photo in CS6 and he saw me using the clone tool. Didn't think anything of it until he called me in and said "look what I did!"

time for you to turn the equipment over to the pro. Give the boy a pat on the back for me
Thanks emrob, I explained the basics on my T2I to him about shutter speed and Fstops and off he went!
Wow, nice work. You must be proud. I'll bet I know what that boy is getting for Christmas ;)
does he give lessons? wow!
Thanks! I should take lessons from him, I could stand to learn a thing or two...

well done! Father son moments like that are so special and so important! you have evry reason to be proud of the boy
I'm very proud, everything he tries he picks up so quickly! He can use my camera anytime he wants...
Nice pix for a youngster. I'd like to see what else his eye catches.....flowers, sunrises/sunsets....just basic cool pix. I would be keeping an eye on him if he has a camera at family get-togethers. There's nothing quite so embarrassing as a pic of aunt Helen, or Uncle Frank shoveling food into their mouths. Sure are great candid shots for years later, but do you want pix like that posted on FaceBook, or YouTube? Either the kid's got talent, or he just got lucky. I prefer to hope it's talent. 8-)
He did very well on the cloning , and that is a talent that I don't have as yet . Give him a high five for us.

Darn kid. How can they show us up so easily when it comes to electronics? It just ain't right. He did a very good job.
Thanks for the nice comments!
I've seen some pictures he has taken with his Iphone that are very good. Where I see "normal" things, he sees some interesting angles/views of the shot...very creative. I am going to continue to encourage him to keep snapping away!!
