We shall give more study and practice to the phon cameras, I’m a photographer since mine 12 year now I’m 74 and love photography but I feel that mine D700 with all the lens I used is very heavy so I desay to star working with mine phone camera that is not heaby and is with me all time plus I used the exterior lens and led ligh for dark shooting , both I take with me all time in a small bag hangin of mine belt, be side I use the app Halide that let you do a lot of steers as a big camera, I’m enjoin the experience and taking very good photos some time I will say95% of the time people do not see note that is take it with the phone. I will like to hear expierens of people doing this cane of photography and Intercheng expierens, I’m using the iPhone X.
(I beg to dispense mine English I’m a Spanish speaker, but in hoby like in science no barrier exist thank you. )

Welcome to the forum. When I look at an image I do not need to know if a DSLR, Compact or phone. My interest is in the image and the emotion it provokes for me.

Check out Emil Pakarklis on YouTube to see what he can do with an iPhone. They’re very capable of taking very good pictures.

Welcome to the forum. You'll see others posting phone photos also. One post recently was several photos from Glacier National Park. The poster never mentioned they were taken with a phone until the very last one, and I doubt anyone suspected. Ignore any nasty comment if you get one.

I started to use an Android phone about 2 years ago. It is fun and easy to carry etc. For many things it is fine. I liked using it so much I started to look for a camera that was small and light weigt. I got a Fuji X-T30.

Much lighter than my Nikon and I use the LCD screen to frame photos like my phone, etc. But the inage quality is much better than any phone. Works great at ISO 6400, has a zoom lens, focuses and shoots very quickly and I can enlarge photos to very large sizes. Not exactly a phone experience, but a good compromise.

I am sympathetic to your language issue, but you really should have a native English-speaking friend edit your text. Sometimes it's hard to tell what you're trying to say.

It seems we’re a very small minority PixelStan.
I hope I am wrong in this assumption.

Any thoughts on this subject!

Welcome to the forum. I have an iphone 8+ with 2 12mp cameras that is always in my pocket and it is useful in certain situations. But, IMHO, it is worthless when shooting subjects such as wildlife, especially birding and astrophotography, true macro photography or when I want a higher quality result and when I plan on making a large print like 17" by 22" for my home gallery and for gifts.

You have a fine smartphone camera. In extreme lighting situations not as capable as a DSLR, but just great. Here are a few I've taken with the iPhone Xs Max.
