This is a 1952 8n Ford, with a Ford installed conversion using a 1951 223 cu.in. 6 Cyl. truck engine.
When I first saw the the conversion mounts I was sure somebody was full of s###, after some research I found that I was wrong.
We are getting it running for a guy that is going to restore it.
The head gasket had been replaced before I got involved in the project, at this point I am waiting for a carburetor rebuild kit, so I decided to take a few images.
Camera: D800 ,lens 24-120 f4, tripod Manfrotto 055CXPRO 4 with an Acra-Tech head
Settings:Manual (except for focus) - ISO 100, f22, shutter speed (slow) available light.

I am confused. That's a flathead engine from Ford. A Chevy engine is overhead valve.
The 8N is a smaller tractor and older.

Confused? by ?
There was no mention of a chevy engine.
Maybe you should read the full text posted with the images.
The 8n was mfg from 1948-1952, The 2n-9n were the older models
