I tried my hand for the first time photographing the air show Saturday Sept. 7. I had a blast and learned a lot(including what not to do). St Louis is a Boeing town and a sports Town. They had a first, showing the new , unreleased Boeing T-X Trainer, built in St Louis. They announced that Sept. 6 was only their 100 flight, so this was 101.They said this was a Tribute to the 2019 Stanley Cup Champs, St Louis Blues and had special marking on the underside. From Wikipedia,
The Boeing/Saab T-X is an American/Swedish advanced jet trainer developed by Boeing Defense, Space & Security in partnership with Saab Group. It was selected on 27 September 2018 by the United States Air Force as the winner of the Advanced Pilot Training System (T-X) program to replace the Northrop T-38 Talon.
I used a Canon 80D with a Canon 100-400 Mark II lens hand held.
Great photos. You did a wonderful job in capturing this trainer. Am sure that our new USAF pilots will learn a lot in this aircraft. Great look into the future. Nice discertation. Mahalo for sharing.
