Is there a story behing those houses? That spring house (what is a spring house?) looks pretty sturdy, must have been there a long time with those two big trees growing in front. Nice pictures.

cjkorb, in answer to your question, a springhouse is used to keep things cold. I've seen things like watermelons kept in one. I'm sending a couple more pictures of this house. I don't know the story behind it, but I did take a picture of the plaque on the front which has a date.
