And here they are.
Drakkar, German Shepherd. My first love, passed on in 2005 at 12 1/2. loved posing and sleeping under any table in the studio when I was recording. In Drakkar 2, I had just finished the vocal to a song for her lol. Drakkar was tied to a tree in a BYB's yard, waiting to become another puppy maker.
She was not for sale, well not till the numbers on a check changed their minds :)

Dusky, Gyp, Maja and Winnie also pictured.

Gyp, a blue doberman, raised Dusky and then Maja before she succumbed to Degenerative myelopathy and age in 2016.
Dusky then took over finishing raising Maja. Gyp was kept pretty much in a crate or kennel until I got her at 8 months. She had to learn what a tree was lol.

Dusky, a Golden retriever Aussie shep mix, started out as a dominant bitch at 4 mo. Bit me when reaching for her when she soiled the floor.
We worked out all her issues in 20 seconds as I out weighed her lol. We have adored one another since, and she instantly started being a puppy. She was bottom dog in a crowded water and poo filled yard and fought for her food every minute. And was harrased by a child smacking her with a pool noodle.

Maja, the black and white husky, growls when you get near her food esp when your giving her more ,or her toy, or to pet her, or try to be nice to her. For any reason she can come up with.
Because shes the smallest, she over compensates, but she has never shown a desire to do anything but make noise. as soon as you touch her, her growls change to groans and grunts lol, shes fooling no one here lol. Her growls are possibly why she was put up for sale at 3 months of age.

Winnie came to us as a normal dog lol. A bull in a china shop, and still is. But she knows I am fragile now, and she tip toes to me, and is very gentle to me, but everyone else...beware :) Her favourite toy is a set of rings, which for $12 have lasted far beyond anything else. 5 months running now.

Gyp and Drakkar were my personal girls., the other are my room mates. But as I trained them, feed them and raised them, we share their love in different aspects. When Ed is home, they are his, they all sleep in his room, on his bed. But when he is at work, they are all mine and follow me wherever I go :)

They are all quite lovely dogs. They offer so much and want so little in return. You can always memorialize a photograph of a loved one by mounting it on a fine plank of expertly sanded wood. Add a liquid epoxy to cover it. And even mount a small clock onto it. When you hang it on a wall, you'll always enjoy the dog as you check the time.

Here are my dogs.
Number One is Lucy. She is my Border Collie/Australian Cattle Dog Mix.
Number Two is Bentley. He is my Labrador/Dalmation mix. All his spots are on his belly!

All the spots on the belly ? unusual and cool :).
My blue doberman Gyp had alopecia, lost almost all hair by age 3, had vests and coats for her for winter, she loved them, would prance around like a queen when on to show off lol.
I company online makes clothing for Alopecia dogs and chose a pic of her to show off how flexible they were.
They were making dober clothing long before the other companies even started up lol.
Pretty sure they closed shop after Amazon offered to much competition though.

In my life I personally have had 36 dogs.
24 of them German Shepherds and 6 Dobermans.
The rest were a varied crew of labs, leopard dogs, Irish setters and such.
Those that needed a home immediately or else.
Kinda hard to look into their eyes knowing you might be the last person they ever see.
At one time I had 5 dogs at once, and they all knew how to do tier tricks in unison lol.
