Experimented a bit this weekend...
I'm fortunate enough to be able to travel pretty regularly, but don't always want to bring my DSLR, several lenses etc. I bought a Canon G7X Mk II a couple of years ago though, and it always goes with me, and has produced several shots suitable for framing and hanging in the house, but I've never tried any real portraiture or boudoir type shots with it. I was wondering if I could put together a lightweight, portable outfit so that I could take advantage of some of the nice hotel rooms, city skylines etc when I find myself there, using either natural light or one single speedlight (which must be able to function as an optical slave, as the G7 has no hot shoe).
Here's what I have put together:
YoongnuoYN600EX-RT II Flash
Manfrotto 5001B 74-Inch Nano Light Stand
Neewer 5 in 1 Portable Round Collapsible Multi Disc Photography Lighting Reflector 24x36 inches
Umbrella adapter
Bowen umbrella
This gear easily packs into whatever bag I'm already bringing, and I tried it out this weekend for the first time. I didn't end up using the reflectors as we were short on time, but I think it's a very workable portable rig! If anyone has any suggestions about anything else they would consider useful please let me know, but I think as a basic kit this has a lot of potential!
They look pretty good to me--the third and fourth are the standouts.

The poses in 1, 3 and 5 look far more natural and relaxed than 2 & 4. The bright lamp post in #1 should be removed in PP. I wonder if the exposures aren't just a bit low.
Lovely model, and very nice work. I do think JohnFrim has a point regarding the exposure.
Too dark for my tastes. But a lovely model.
Nice theme in #1. I'd develop that more with different compositions and maybe more HDR.
Thanks for all the comments. They DO look a bit darker on here then I intended. But having said that, the main purpose of this was to evaluate the feasibility of traveling with a very limited amount of equipment and a compact camera, which I think is going to work out OK.

Don't forget to take you model with you!!!
If I recall, in your earlier photos you mentioned she was not keen on showing her face. I guess that has changed. Lovely lady, so keep working.

Thanks, I guess I'll keep dragging her along with me :)-
Next up...Chicago!
The simplistic solution is most likely the right one (Occam). So looks good to me! Keep using what you put together in your kit until there is a wonderful shot that you just can’t pull off then (and only then) find the smallest’ lightest, and in my case the least expensive item to the kit that will make it possible. You’ve produced a variety of good stuff already with a short list of equipment so I think you’re started on a great trip. Great job!
Your model is absolutely stunning....
You achieved great results with your experiments
