MIYL - Pelicans at Blue Hour

I always thought that this image deserved a little help. It was taken during the Blue Hour and the Pelicans had just flown over my head.

I have included both a jpg and NEF file for your use. Download the image and edit in any way you wish then submit your result to this thread. You may post a maximum of two edits. Entries will be accepted until 7 pm EDT, Thursday. Voting will run from Thursday evening until Sunday evening. The winner will host the following week's challenge. Later that week there was a beautiful amber sunset along the beach.

I put this in a frame because the yellow on this page will distract from the sunset.
Downloads are always best, never sure how many people go to that page.

I like it Jim. I was looking for a way to isolate the Pelicans from the sky, and you have done that.

Very nice. I didn't do any processing on the .jpg, but I thought it would benefit from some noise reduction.

Thanks Spyder. I did this with Photoshop using layers. I found a sky I wanted and put it over the base layer using Normal mode and made a mask for sky only. Then opened Blend if menu, by right clicking on the layer, and moved the bottom right slider triangle to the right enough for the Pelicans to appear. The same sky layer was flipped vertical and applied over the water with a much reduce opacity.
